Before moving to Tobermory permanently,  I lodged firstly with June Anderson in an extremely cold house in upper Tobermory and then, at the Chalets behind the Western Isles.  I would go back to Mill cottage in Bunessan at weekends.  I met Jackie at June's house, as she was another lodger.  Jackie was going out with Bill LLoyd at the time.
